The Green Bay Packers have announced that Rodney Wedig of Milton High School, was named the Green Bay Packers High School Coach of the Week last week. Wedig is a 1985 graduate of Belmont High School. He began his coaching career in 1995 as head coach at Almond Bancroft High School. Wedig has also been the head coach at Walworth Big Foot High School, where he won a State Championship in 2009 and at Beloit Memorial. Wedig became the head coach at Milton in 2019. Coach of the Week honorees are awarded several items and privileges, including a $2,000 donation to their school’s football program from the Green Bay Packers.
