A Richland Center woman has admitted to killing a man whose body was found in rural Sauk County last month. The Sauk County Sheriff’s Office says 35-year-old Amber Lundgren was arrested Wednesday in connection with the death of 37-year-old Christopher Lytle. He was found dead in an isolated area of Fairfield September 22nd. Authorities didn’t mention how he died, but a coroner ruled the death a homicide after an autopsy. According to the report, detectives talked to Lundgren early Wednesday and confronted her with evidence obtained during the investigation. She admitted to causing the death of Lytle at the location where his body was found. Detectives found there was a prior relationship between Lytle and Lundgren and that the incident was not a random act. The investigation is ongoing as Lundgren remains in custody at the Sauk County Jail awaiting a hearing.
