A Lafayette County teen was uninjured in a one-vehicle accident around 8am Friday in the Town of Clarno. The Green County Sheriff’s Department reports that 17 year old Dakota Dicks of Gratiot was traveling east on County Highway P when he lost control of his vehicle, which exited the roadway. The vehicle then struck a fence and a utility pole. Dicks reported that he was wearing his seatbelt and that he was not injured. Two juvenile passengers in the vehicle both reported that they were not injured and that they were both wearing their seatbelts. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Alliant Energy responded to the scene to make repairs to the pole.
