Darlington Police responded to a disturbance Saturday which led to the arrests of three people, while criminal charges are recommended for a fourth person. According to the Darlington Police Department, an altercation began Saturday around 2:20 p.m. on Main Street. 50 year old Robert Erstad and 41 year old Christopher Rielly, both of Darlington, were arrested on charges of battery and disorderly conduct and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. 37 year old Katie Moffett of Darlington was arrested on a drug-related warrant from Dane County. She also was cited with possession of drug paraphernalia. Police are recommending that she be charged with possession of a controlled substance. 20 year old Joseph Lenoir of Madison was referred to the Lafayette County District Attorney Office to be charged with battery and disorderly conduct. He was cited with possession of marijuana.
