Authorities in Richland County say a woman won’t face any additional charges, but she can’t own horses for at least two years. Thurley Neumaier was already in trouble with the law for a previous case of animal neglect. She had entered a guilty plea in February to a charge of intentionally failing to feed her horses. She was sentenced to deferred prosecution and prohibited from owning more horses. The D-A says this time the horses weren’t in bad enough shape to constitute a crime.
