An 18 year old man from Dodgeville was killed in a shooting in Madison on Saturday. The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the person Gunnar T. G. Holum. He died shortly after arriving at the hospital. Reports say Madison neighboorhood resource officers tracked down the alleged shooter, 20 year old Marcus Hamilton and arrested him for first-degree intentional homicide. An autopsy completed Sunday confirmed Holum died from “firearm related trauma.” Holum’s death remains under investigation by the City of Madison Police Department and the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office.
