The Darlington Police Department took a complaint of a stolen vehicle from an address on East Street in Darlington on Monday morning. It was later learned the vehicle was not stolen, and that the complainant, 47 year old Paula Perrin of Platteville, filed a false report to avoid being held accountable for wrecking the car in Green County. Perin was arrested on a Probation and Parole hold and booked into the Lafayette County Jail. Perrin is also being referred for criminal charges for obstructing an officer and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device.
