A southwest Wisconsin woman is under arrest for the alleged shooting of her live-in boyfriend in Wauzeka. The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office says 50-year-old Cheryl Lippitt is accused of shooting 50-year-old Harold Schuh in the arm and stomach just before midnight on Christmas Eve. Schuh was transferred to U-W Hospital in stable condition. Deputies found a handgun at the scene and say Lippitt appeared to be intoxicated. She claimed they had gotten into an argument earlier and she shot Schuh because she was afraid for her safety. The incident is still under investigation.
