Two La Crosse men, who face charges in the death of a Grant County woman, have both pled not guilty to 1st-degree reckless homicide. A joint hearing for 29-year-old Travis Heal and 23-year-old Austin Janick was held Friday in Grant County Circuit Court. Authorities say actions by the men played a part in the death of 23-year-old Cierra Strametz. She was found dead at a Boscobel home back in November. Reports show Strametz died from an overdose of heroin mixed with fentanyl. Officers say she arranged to pick up Janick and then they met with Heal at a La Crosse hotel to purchase the drugs.
