— The new Wisconsin Farm Support Program will devote 65 million dollars to helping farmers with their financial struggles during the coronavirus pandemic. Applicants will go through the Wisconsin Department of Revenue. Fifty million dollars will be distributed as direct payments to farmers and 15 million will come through an initiative to combat hunger in the state. The program was announced Wednesday. Support payments for Wisconsin farmers could show up as soon as next week.
