The executive vice president of a Kieler-based company was killed on Sunday when her plane crashed in central Missouri. Authorities say Amy Lowe and her husband Scott were the only people on board the small plane that went down near Lake of the Ozarks. Amy Lowe was among the senior leadership at PSSI Chemical Innovations and Food Sanitation in Kieler. Officials with the FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are taking over the investigation. At this time, authorities have not said what might have caused the single-engine plane to crash. According to the company’s website, Amy Lowe had been working for PSSI since 2009. Amy and Scott Lowe are survived by their two children.
