A split vote on Platteville’s fall sports plan means another special board meeting will likely happen before September 1st. The Platteville School Board voted 4-to-4 Wednesday on a proposal to go ahead with sports this fall. One board member was not present at the meeting. The WIAA has set a deadline of September 1st for schools to let them know which sports – if any – a district will be participating in this fall.
