Under an agreement reportedly approved by Big Ten presidents and commissioners, football could return to the conference by the middle of next month. An announcement originally expected to come Tuesday could be made later today (Wednesday). The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports the proposal for a 2020 season has been approved. Giving substance to that report and others was a comment by University of Nebraska President Ted Carter caught by a hot microphone before a Tuesday news conference. He told the director of the National Strategic Research Institute, Bob Hinson, an announcement was coming about Huskers and Big Ten football.
