MADISON, Wis – Wisconsin normally scores in bunches in the paint, shoots a high percentage from the free throw line, and plays with energy. Against Maryland, Greg Gard’s team didn’t.
The Badgers missed shot 53% from the charity stripe while getting outscored down low 38-20. Micah Potter and Nate Reuvers combined for just 12 points in a performance that wasn’t good, but it’s one that Badgers plan on learning from.
