A Dodgeville man faces multiple charges after attacking another person over the weekend. The Iowa County Sheriff’s Department says deputies assisted Dodgeville Police with an investigation Sunday morning at a home on Roelli Lane in the City of Dodgeville. After an investigation, authorities arrested 40-year-old Louie Alford Jr on charges of substantial battery – intending to cause bodily harm, strangulation and suffocation, disorderly conduct, intimidating a victim, damaging property and misdemeanor bail jumping. Alrford was taken to the Iowa County Jail where he was booked on his charges.
