Badgers quarterback Graham Mertz launches merchandise website

MADISON, Wis. — On the first day college athletes are allowed to make money on their name, image and likeness, Wisconsin Badgers quarterback Graham Mertz isn’t wasting any time getting into the market.

Mertz, who teased his own personal logo earlier this week, launched the website Thursday.

The website, grahammertzshop.com, includes t-shirts and other clothes with Mertz’s personal logo, name and number 5 on them.

The NCAA’s decision allows players to receive payment for merchandise, as well as endorsements, sponsorships and personal appearances.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison launched an NIL program to educate athletes on what their opportunities are over the summer in anticipation of the NCAA’s decision.
