Drug Arrest in Arena

Iowa County deputies assisted the Arena Police Department with a drug arrest Monday night. According to a sheriff’s office report, officers initiated a traffic stop along Highway 14 in Arena Township around 11:30pm. Following an investigation, the driver – 35-year-old Rollie Tappa of Charlotte, North Carolina – was arrested on multiple charges. His charges include Possession of THC, Possession of Meth, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Prescription Medication without a Valid Prescription. Tappa was also arrested on a Probation Violation thru the state Department of Corrections. He was taken to the Iowa County Jail where he remains.
