Wisconsin ready for redemption as Big Ten Tournament begins

MADISON, Wis. — It’s officially tournament time for the Wisconsin softball team and tourney time means one thing: a clean slate.

And that’s a good thing for UW who closed out the regular season with 6-straight losses.

“All year long it’s been winning a Big Ten Championship”, Yvette Healy said. “So it’s been fun going into it. You get to face the Gophers and have a shot at redemption.”

The Badgers were swept by the Gophers this season and have lost 9-straight against their border battle rival.
