Authorities in Jo Daviess made a drug arrest Tuesday. 35 year old Cordero Davis of Dubuque was arrested around 8:30pm on Highway 20 near Stockton. A press release states that Davis’s vehicle was stopped for an improper lane violation and authorities “observed indicators of criminal activity.” Cordero initially provided deputies with an incorrect name and date of birth before giving his correct name. He was later found with 3-1/2 pounds of marijuana, 2 pounds of meth and smaller amounts of heroin and cocaine, along with a large amount of cash. According to the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Department, Davis faces charges of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, unlawful delivery of cannabis, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, two counts of felony unlawful possession of a controlled substance and felony possession of cannabis.
