Grant County Deputies made an arrest in a burglary investigation on Tuesday. Around 1:30pm the Grant County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a possible burglary in progress at a residence in Hickory Grove Township. Deputies arrived and found 27 year old Robert Goodman of Boscobel, and 34 year old Brandon Hocking, also of Boscobel, at the property. An investigation showed Goodman came to the property without permission to pick up some of his property. Goodman forced entry into an outbuilding and took some property that belonged to the property owner. Goodman was arrested and booked in the Grant County Jail on charges of burglary, criminal damage to property, theft, operating after revocation, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hocking was questioned and released with no charges filed against him. Assisting at the scene was the Wisconsin State Patrol.
