Sex Offender To Be Released and Live in Darlington

The City of Darlington Police Department is releasing information regarding the presence of a sexual offender to be living in the city. 45 year old Jason M. Schmidt will be living in a residence on Arthur Street in Darlington. Schmidt was convicted of First Degree Sexual Assault of a Child in 2003. The information is being shared by the police department to heighten awareness of the presence of Schmidt in the neighborhood.
