‘We have to be better now’: Granato emphasizes correcting mistakes immediately

MADISON, Wis. — After suffering a sweep to 14th-ranked Ohio State on opening weekend, the Wisconsin men’s hockey team is more than ready to correct its mistakes.
And they looking to do it pretty quickly.
“We have to apply our lessons that we’ve learned immediately,” Badgers Head Coach Tony Granato said. “It’s not a month or so down the road that we’re going to be better. We have to be better now. And I think our guys understand that.”

The Badgers have their home opener this weekend and will host St. Cloud State for two games. The puck drops Friday night at 7 p.m. at the Kohl Center.
