As part of their annual maintenance, the Village of Potosi will be flushing fire hydrants on October 17th at 8 am. If the task is not completed it will continue on Tuesday, October 18th. As a reminder, water discoloration can be caused by sediment or rust being flushed from the water mains. If you do experience discoloration in your water service, please don’t be alarmed your water will clear up once it is run for a short time. It is suggested to refrain from laundry on days they flush as possible discoloration in the water can stain light colored clothing.
