Milk Truck Goes Off The Road in Crawford County

The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department responded to a one-vehicle crash on Saturday around 8:30am. The crash happened on County HIghway X just west of Trout Creek Road in Clayton Township with no injuries or blockage. 49 year old Chad Thelen of Viroqua was traveling west on County Road X in a Freightliner Milk truck. The milk truck was negotiating a curve when it started to slide on the wet roadway. The passenger side tires went onto the soft wet right shoulder of the roadway. Thelen was not able to get the vehicle back onto the roadway and came to rest on the right shoulder of the roadway against a tree stump. The accident remains under Investigation.
