The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is encouraging Wisconsinites to give the gift of sustainability by reusing, reducing and recycling this holiday season. They are reminding Wisconsin residents that a number of common items are banned from state landfills and should be recycled instead including cardboard and newspaper. Wrapping paper can be recycled as long as it can be torn and doesn’t have any glitter, foil or other adornments.
