A New York City man named Kingsley recently planned the trip of a lifetime to Sydney Australia, only one problem…he accidentally booked the flight to Sidney Montana! The two airport acronyms are surprisingly close: Sydney Australia is: SYD, and Sidney Montana’s is: SDY. Should he have been tipped off by the MASSIVE price difference between the two? Perhaps, but he admits to being a frugal bargain shopper, and he was thrilled to book the discounted ticket price. Thankfully once he landed in Montana, an American Airlines employee named Carol was able to get him a hotel stay for the night, and a return trip to New York the next day. Believe it or not, according to the airport in Montana this is the SECOND time this has happened to a passenger! The first passenger’s initials were: H. Simpson…DOH!
