State officials are asking for feedback on a proposed round-about between Shullsburg and Gratiot. The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is now accepting comments regarding the project. According to the DOT’s website, the round-about would be placed at the intersection of Highways 11 and 23 in Lafayette County. Transportation officials say the project will address safety concerns and reduce the crash rate at that intersection. Construction isn’t slated until 2026. However, comments are due to the DOT by March 8th. Details can be found on the agency’s website.
