The Grant County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in identifying the semi and driver involved in a 2 vehicle hit and run crash leaving a 16 year old Potosi juvenile without a vehicle. On Friday, just before 7:00 a.m., the Grant County Sheriff’s Office was notified of a 2 vehicle crash on County Road O near the intersection with Rockville Road in Harrison Township. A 16 year old juvenile from Potosi was eastbound on County Road O on his way to work when he reported a westbound semi with an empty flatbed construction trailer was hugging the centerline around a curve and clipped the driver’s side of his vehicle, setting off the airbags. The semi did not stop and the juvenile was not able to get a license plate number. The juvenile’s vehicle had moderate damage and was driven from the scene. The juvenile reported no injuries. It is believed the semi trailer would have minimal damage to the rear driver’s side. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Grant County Sheriff’s Office at (608) 723-2157.
