Platteville Chalk & Cheese Festival Coming Next Weekend

An annual arts fair is set to return to Platteville this month. The Platteville Chalk & Cheese Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday August 26th at Platteville’s City Park. Festivities include outdoor chalk art, food and free music. Artists of all ages are welcome to participate in the event and create their own sidewalk-chalk art. The event will feature commissioned, professional chalk artists who will create their own pieces throughout the day. Organizers said participants should arrive early in the morning to secure a spot.
