The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is looking for feedback on the new wolf management rules. The new plan will apply to gray wolf harvest regulations. The new plan moves away from a specific population number for gray wolves. Instead, the DNR wants to adopt an adaptive management style. That means they would adjust their actions based on the needs of the wolf population and people. There will be a virtual public hearing on September 12 at 4 p.m. where people can make their voices heard. People can also submit comments to the DNR online or through the mail through September 15.
