The state of Minnesota, also known as ‘The State of Hockey’, just wrapped up their annual State High School Hockey tournament. The State Champions were: Edina (large schools) and St. Cloud Cathedral (small schools), but the REAL winner was Nate Celski a hockey player for White Bear Lake. Nate won the Dr. Chuck Ells (say it fast) ‘Hockey Hair Award’, which gives out an award to the BEST in flow at the state tourney. The award was given out on the official TV broadcaster of the state tournament: KSTC 45, who described Nate’s hair as: “the 4th Hanson brother with the perfect amount of lemon juice in the salad (that means he dyed it blonde). When you add your own twist on a classic and pay tribute to the greatest hockey movie of all time (Slapshot), you get the trophy!”
