Wisconsin residents will have opportunities to provide input on natural resource-related questions at in-person hearings held in every county. The hearings are held annually by the Wisconsin Conservation Congress and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources. The hearings will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, April 8. Two locations to provide input are: the Grant County Youth and Ag Building in Lancaster, and the Lafayette County Multi-Purpose Building in Darlington. Residents may provide input online at dnr.wisconsin.gov/about/wcc/springhearing from noon April 10th to noon April 13th. Topics will include proposals to change the general open season for trout in inland streams, allow some deer parts to be left in the field after harvest and extend the fall turkey season.
