Officials with the Lancaster Pool were nearly faced with the prospects of being without the water slide this entire summer. Prior to opening to the public this summer, a very large valve for the side pump failed. The part is hard to find and replacing it is very expensive. Officials with the pool began looking for other options. Fortunately, another more affordable option was found. Pool officials say they’ll need to wait another week before they’ll have water moving and the water slide up and running. Meanwhile, the pool is open.
