The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is accepting applications for a program that awards grant money for projects hosting an electronics recycling collection site in rural counties. The E-Cycle Wisconsin Electronics Collection Grant will make it easier for rural Wisconsinites to recycle unwanted electronics, rather than tossing them in the trash. The DNR says it will award up to $100,000 in grants to businesses, local and tribal governmental bodies, and non-profits this application round involved with setting up an electronics recycling collections site or event between September 2024 and December 2025. Priority will be given to projects in counties that do not have already have a permanent collection site open to residents. Applications are due by 5 p.m. on July 31st.
