Motorcycle vs car accident in Dubuque County

One person was hurt in a crash involving a car and motorcycle in Dubuque County on Sunday afternoon. It happened in the 7200 Block of Olde Davenport Road just before 2:45 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies said the car was pulling out of a driveway onto the road and pulled out in front of the motorcycle, causing a crash between the two. The driver of the motorcycle was injured. First responders took him to Unity Point. He is expected to survive his injuries. Deputies cited the car’s driver for not yielding when entering a highway.
