5 arrested for role in weekend fight at Dubuque park

Police said five people have been arrested following a weekend fight at a Dubuque park. 21-year-old Isaac Anderson, of Gary, Ind., was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the area of East 21st and Elm streets on a charge of participation in a riot. Dubuque Police Department Lt. Luke Bock said four juveniles ages 15, 15, 14 and 13 also were arrested on charges of participation in a riot. Additionally, two of the juveniles face charges of interference with official acts. Court documents state that officers responded at approximately 6:30 p.m. Saturday to Comiskey Park, for a report of a physical disturbance. Police determined that six subjects were fighting at the park. Bock said additional charges are possible in the case.
