Ellen DeGeneres confirmed that she will be stepping away from fame after completing her final stand-up tour and its accompanying Netflix special. “This is the last time you’re going to see me,” she said in Santa Rosa last week. “After my Netflix special, I’m done.” She also addressed the allegations of a toxic work environment on her show. “I can be demanding and impatient and tough. I am a strong woman,” she also said in Santa Rosa, but insisted that she is “not mean” because she never wanted to hurt anyone. The tour runs until August 17th, with the Netflix special set to premiere later this year. (Variety)
