Muscoda Man Arrested For Threatening Judge

The Avoca Police Department conducted a traffic stop on East Front Street in Avoca Tuesday night around 7:40pm.. As a result of the traffic stop, 33 year old James Young of Muscoda was arrested and taken to the Iowa County Jail where he was booked on charges of Battery or Threat to a Judge, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping and Disorderly Conduct. The Avoca Police Department was assisted by Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Muscoda Police Department in the arrest.
