Browntown Woman Injured in Crash

Green County Deputies, along with Browntown First Response and Green County EMS, responded to the intersection of County Highway B & West River Road in the Town of Cadiz, for a single vehicle crash with injury Saturday around 11:30pm. An investigation found that 47 year old Melissa Griffin of Browntown was traveling northbound on West River Road when she failed to see the intersection with County Highway B. Griffin then traveled across County Highway B and into a field to the north of the roadway.  The vehicle then collided with a tree and came to a rest.  Griffin was later taken to the hospital. Her vehicle had disabling damage, with airbag deployment, and was towed from the scene.
