Shullsburg man injured in Lafayette County crash

Authorities say a man was injured Friday in a Lafayette County crash. 22-year-old Juan Hernandez of Shullsburg was injured and taken to a hospital, according to a crash report. The incident occurred around 11:55 PM Friday. The report states that Hernandez was traveling southbound on County Highway I in New Diggings Township when he failed to negotiate a curve and entered a ditch, striking a pole, and road sign before coming to rest in a field. Hernandez was cited for failure to maintain control, no insurance, and operating without a valid drivers license.
