Motorcyclist died following Aug. 18 crash

The Grant County Coroners Office has notified the Grant County Sheriff’s Department one of the two people injured the afternoon of August 18th in a motorcycle versus truck accident has now died. 22 year old Cameron Schaefer of Dickeyville passed away yesterday (Saturday) Morning. The accident took place on Highway 35/61 at the intersection with County B. Schaefer’s passenger on the motorcycle-23 year old Jadyn Noonan-also of Dickeyville sustained serious injuries. The driver of the truck and his passenger were not injured. The accident took place when the driver of the truck failed to yield from the stop sign.
