Dyersville man sexually assaults girl under 17

Police said a Dubuque County man sexually assaulted a girl under age 17. 30-year-old Tyler M. Zurn of Dyersville was arrested at 2:56 p.m. Saturday at his residence on a warrant charging third-degree sexual abuse-forcible rape and third-degree sexual abuse-person four or more years older than the victim. Court documents state that police responded on May 5 to a report of a girl under the age of 17 who had been sexually abused in a hotel room. The girl reported that on May 3, she met a man at a Dubuque convenience store and the man took the girl to a Dubuque hotel room, where he sexually assaulted her.
