One Vehicle Rollover Accident in Platteville Township

On Friday just after 6pm, the Grant County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Hwy 81 & CTH D in Platteville Township for a one vehicle crash rollover. Platteville Fire & Rescue units were dispatched to the scene. The driver of the vehicle was Scott Pilgrim of Janesville. Pilgrim advised he had been traveling south on County Highway D and drove off the east side of the road on CTH D, and failed to stop at a stop sign on Highway 81. The vehicle crossed Highway 81 into a embankment and rolled over. Pilgrim was not injured, and he refused treatment by EMS. Pilgrim was issued citations for Operating Left of Center, Open intoxicants and Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign.  Pilgrim‘s vehicle had heavy damage. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by Platteville Fire & Rescue.
