On Friday, the Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual ‘State of the City’ address featuring Mayor Brad Cavanagh. Mayor Cavanagh had a long list of successes for Dubuque including increasing salaries for public safety officers, new childcare facilities, increased housing stock, multiple federal grants, and the return of daily commercial air service to Dubuque. Mayor Cavanagh emphasized one of his ongoing jobs is to build relationships on the state and federal level to ensure Dubuque’s success.
