Woman Charged With Operating Without Valid Driver’s License

An Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy along with a Mineral Point Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on US Highway 151 near Mile Marker 40 in the Township of Mineral Point around 3:15am Monday. As a result of the stop, 27 year old Girlem Mendieta of Madison was arrested on the charge of Operating without Valid Driver’s License (3rd+ offense within 3 years). Mendieta was taken to the Iowa County Jail where she was later released on bond
