Lancaster Community Schools has decided against purchasing two electric buses. The school district was initially approved for and EPA grant that would help cover the purchase of two electric buses, but the grant still left the district $240,000 short. District Administrator Rob Wagner said that due to uncertainty about qualifications for additional funds and some parent concerns, the district decided to place purchasing electric buses on hold.
