The City of Prairie du Chien and the school district have submitted bills for Donald Trump’s visit at the end of September. According to Police Chief Kyle Teynor the City is seeking approximately $22,000 in expenses from the event at the school district’s arts center. The expenses included cost from Crawford County, MarMac Police, Grant County Sheriffs, and the City of Prairie du Chien Fire Department. As of November 12, the city has not received payment from Trump’s campaign. The school district has received full payment for Trump’s use of the school property.
