Ben Wikler announced bid to lead Democratic National Party

Ben Wikler, Wisconsin’s top Democrat and leader of the state’s Democratic Party, announced his bid Sunday to head the party’s national strategy after a disappointing election cycle for Democrats. In a video announcing his candidacy, Wikler said, “The country that we love needs the Democratic Party to be stronger. To unite, to fight and to win.” Wikler is the fourth Democrat to throw his hat in the ring, with the field quickly growing.  Wikler is running on his record of out fundraising Republicans and hard-fought campaigns in the ever-purple swing state of Wisconsin.
