An East Dubuque man was found dead following a house fire on Tuesday. The Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office responded to the house fire around 12:51 p.m. in the 5800 block of N Dunn. Road. When deputies arrived, notes that were written by the suspected homeowner, identified as 77-year-old Harry Holloman, were found in the vehicle outside the home. During a walkthrough of the home, human remains belonging to Holloman were found. Officials say that he lived alone. The incident remains under investigation.
