A Dubuque man has been sentenced to two years of probation for shooting another man with a BB gun. 20-year-old Jonathan J. Mueller Jr. recently received the sentence in Dubuque County Court after pleading guilty to one count of assault causing injury. As part of his probation, Mueller must reside at the state correctional facility for up to one year. The charge stems from a Nov. 14, 2023, incident at Clean Getaway Carwash where court documents state officers responded to reports of an employee who had shot another worker with a BB gun.
